Our Association
Stichting Dakterras Art Productions curates and produces art performances and events in a wide variety of artistic genres. Our artistic productions are often supporting communities and social goals.
In 2015 we moved to the center of Amsterdam. Talking to our new neighbours we understood there was a desire to organise activities to bring the residents community together. We therefore decided to organise a performance on the common rooftop, which is next to the Sint Nicholaas church. The performance was composed by music and video projections on the facade of the church (video mapping), and it was so successful with the residents that since that year we organise every summer a cultural season on the rooftop.
Now we also have extended our activities to the neighbourhood and we are part of the organisation of the Wallen Festival (a festival in the center of Amsterdam) and of the Wallenbuurt (a local center for residents), with particular attention to the cultural and artistic aspects.
